LONGING FTU

Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Alba Matter, found

Scrapkit by Anna Jolank called Happy Days. This kit is enormous! I only used a very small selection of the elements. It’s a gorgeous and it’s  FTU found

Tube of choice. I used Longing by Keith Garvey. Keith’s gorgeous tubes can be purchased at
 PTE

Mask of choice – I used WSL84

Pookers template 25 which can be found at Elegant Inspirations

PREPARATION:
Open Pookers template 25. Copy, and close original
Delete copyright and mask layers

Resize all 110%
Image – canvas size 700 x 700
Click on white layer at the bottom and floodfill white

In palette layer, move Large circle to sit above small circle.
Click on small circle. Selections – float. Selections – defloat.
Click on large circle and hit delete.
Deselect.
This forms a frame.

Repeat the above step with Largeshape 1 above smallshape 1

Repeat with largeshape2 above smallshape 2

Resize all papers 25% before using.

To fill template layers . . .  Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections -  defloat. Layers – new raster layer – paste paper into selection. Deselect. Sharpen.
Delete template layer.

OK Here we go . . .

Paper 2 – free rotate right 90
Click on white background. Layers – new raster layer.
Selections select all.
Paste Paper 2 (rotated) into selection.
Deselect.
Apply  Mask WSL84
Merge group.
Stretch mask to the right and to the bottom.

Starting from the bottom layer, I used:

Small Circle = Paper 5 into selection

Paste close up of tube above paper 5 layer.
Click on small circle. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.
Click on tube and hit delete.
Deselect.
On tube layer, Properties – luminance legacy. Reduce opacity to 32

Large Circle (frame) = Paper 7 into selection
Deselect.
Sharpen.
Add inner bevel of choice
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 80, monochrome checked.
Dropshadow.

Set foreground colour to #443e30 and background colour to #f8f9ba

Strip 1 = Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat.
New raster layer. Fill with #443e30
Deselect.
Effects – texture effects – blinds with settings 1   2   1, colour #f8f9ba.
Dropshadow

Make background gradient with the 2 colours in your palette. Angle 45 repeats 3

Strip 2 = Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat.
New raster layer. Fill with gradient.
Deselect.
Delete template layer.
Give inner bevel. Dropshadow.

Strip 3 = Same as Strip 1

Strip 4 = Same as Strip 2, except change gradient angle to 315

Smallshape 1 = Paper 2 into selection.

Largeshape 1 (frame) = Paper 7 into selection
Deselect.
Sharpen.
Add inner bevel of choice
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 80, monochrome checked.
Dropshadow.

Smallshape 2 = Paper 10 into selection
Paste close up of tube above paper 10 layer.
Click on small circle. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.
Click on tube and hit delete.
Deselect.
On tube layer, Properties – luminance legacy. Reduce opacity to 32

Largeshape 2 (frame) = Paper 7 into selection
Deselect.
Sharpen.
Add inner bevel of choice
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 80, monochrome checked.
Dropshadow.

Open Cluster 4 from kit. Resize 30% then 75%. Sharpen
Position above Largeshape 1 frame layer, so it peeks out the left side.
Carefully erase the metal frame showing at the top.
Dropshadow.

Open Cluster 4 from the kit again. Resize 35% then 90%. Sharpen
Place this one above the mask layer to the left. Again, erase the metal frame at the top.
Dropshadow.

Element 66 (leaves) – Flip. Resize 20% then 75%.
Position above Strip 4 layer.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Element 93 (beads) – Resize 40%. Position above mask layer (under Cluster 4 layer) and move to bottom left.
Duplicate and move upwards to sit in top right corner. Resize this 90%
Sharpen and dropshadow both.

Element 5 (chain) – Resize 10% then 50%. Sharpen twice.
Position above Strip 4 and move into place.
Duplicate and move this one above Strip 3.
Dropshadow both chains.

Paste main tube and position as desired.
Dropshadow.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
