BORN TO FLY FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Resident Evil

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask011

I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.

Open a new image 700 x 700

Fill with white

Layers – new raster layer. Selections – select all.

Paste Paper 5 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask.

In layers palette, merge group.

Duplicate mask.

On top copy, layers – properties – multiply.

Don’t merge down these two layers, or you will lose the effect.

Element 18 (Frame) – Paste above mask layers

Click inside frame with magic wand.

Selections – modify – expand 4.

Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 15 into selection.

DO NOT DESELECT.

Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 13 into selection.

Deselect.

In layers palette, move frame to sit above the two paper layers.

Dropshadow frame.

On paper 13, layers – properties – multiply.

Element 27 (ghost) – Paste above Paper 13 layer and slide to the right. Drop opacity to 30.

Dropshadow.

Element 39 (flower) – Paste above frame layer and slide to the bottom left.

Sharpen.

Duplicate. Slide this copy down and right slightly – remember you can always move these before merging your tag at the end.

Dropshadow both.

Element 72 (gold rings) – Paste above flower layers and slide to the top.

Duplicate. Flip

Dropshadow both.

Element 63 (black leaves) – Mirror. Resize 70%

Paste above rings layers and slide to the bottom left corner.

Sharpen.

Dropshadow.

Element 64 (leaves) – Paste above black leaves layer and slide to the bottom left corner.

Sharpen.

Duplicate - mirror

Dropshadow both.

Element 15 (signpost) – Paste above leaves layers and slide to the right

Sharpen.

Dropshadow.

Element 29 (cat) – Paste above signpost layer and slide to the right.

Position so it is sitting on the sign  

Sharpen.

Dropshadow.

Element 66 (string bow) – Paste above cat layer and slide to the bottom right corner.

Sharpen.

Duplicate - mirror

Dropshadow both.

Element 43 (bottle) – Resize 60%.

Paste between the two string bow layers and slide down.

Sharpen.

Dropshadow.

Element 69 (Candle) – Resize 60%.

Paste above the bottle layer and slide down.

Sharpen.

Dropshadow

(Top copy of string bow should be next)

Element 13 (mask) – Resize 65%.

Paste above candle layer and slide to bottom right.
Free rotate right 15.

Sharpen.

Tube  – If using the same one as me, resize 70% then 67%.

I recolored her dress to suit the tag:

Click on purple dress layer of tube. Adjust – Hue & Saturation – Colorize

H= 251  S=94

I also used my select tool and drew around the purple flower on her hat. Same settings as above.

Paste as the top layer.

Sharpen.

Dropshadow

Add any other elements you want.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
