This tutorial may look a little
complicated, but if you follow the steps, you’ll be fine J
You will need:
Font of choice – I used Blueplate Special
Tube of choice. I used Skye by Keith
Garvey. These tubes can be purchased from his site

Mask of choice
I used a lovely Autumn mask, but I’m
unsure where I got it.
If it is yours, please let me know and
I will add appropriate credits.
You can download it from
Template layers will be identified
with capitals, and items from the scrapkit will be in lower case.
I suggest you close template layers
after use, rather than deleting them, as you will need to refer to them when
you add your elements.
Open Template. Copy, and close
original.
Resize 110%, all layers checked
Image – canvas size 700 x 700
Click on Raster 1 (at the bottom) and
fill with white.
Delete top two layers
RASTER 16 (Dark
orange top left circle)
- Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers –
new raster layer. Paste Paper 5 into
selection
Deselect.
Sharpen paper.
Duplicate – mirror – flip.
In layers palette, move the copy to
sit above COPY OF RASTER 16
Dropshadow both.
Close template layers.
RASTER 23 (Pale
circle frame)
- Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers –
new raster layer. Fill with #fee2b2
Deselect.
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 40
Duplicate – mirror – flip.
In layers palette, move the copy to
sit above RASTER 22
Dropshadow both.
Close template layers.
RASTER 17
(pink square)
- Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers –
new raster layer. Paste Paper 14
into selection
Deselect.
Sharpen paper.
Duplicate – mirror – flip.

Fill with #a63501.
Resize colored layer 98%, all layers Unchecked.
Click on Raster 24

Click on colored layer and hit delete

Deselect.

– Merge all three squares to one layer. (Click on top square. In layers palette
right click, and click merge – merge down. Repeat to merge all three squares).
Resize Paper 15 x 80%.
Paste above merged layer
Selections – select all. Selections –
float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.
Click on Paper 15 and hit delete.
Deselect.
Sharpen paper.
Close template layer.
RASTER 7 (Dotted
three frames)
- Layers – new raster layer above raster 12.
Fill with #5c2700.
Resize colored layer 98%, all layers Unchecked.
Click on Raster 7
Selections – select all. Selections –
float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.

Fill with #5c2700
Deselect.
Merge brown layer down to black
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 40.
RASTER 29 (Author’s
name) – Leave
as it is.
Click on Raster 27 and merge down to
Raster 30
Repeat until all four wordart layers
are merged together.
Resize 80%
Sharpen
Slide to bottom right of tag.
Dropshadow.
OK – Time to add our elements
Element 77
(Gold doodle)
– Paste above RASTER 11
Slide to the left.
Duplicate – mirror
Dropshadow both.

(Orange leaf line)
– Resize 50%.
Paste above RASTER 7 (dotted frames)
and slide to the right to cover the bottom of the right side frame. You can
always move it later if you need to.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow.
Tube – Paste above element 63
layer, and slide into position.
To make it appear as if she is sitting
in the frame, do the following:
Click on COPY OF RASTER 12 layer. Selections
– select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.
Click back on your tube, and erase the
bottom part.
Deselect.
Dropshadow tube.
Element 19
(Grass) –
Paste above tube layer.
Slide to the right.
Sharpen.
Duplicate - mirror
Dropshadow both.
Element 18
(Yellow Flower)
– Flip. Resize 45%.
Paste above element 19 layer.
Slide to the right and down.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow.
Element 17 (Orange
Flower) – Resize
60%.
Paste above element 18 layer.
Slide to the left.
Sharpen.
Duplicate - mirror
Dropshadow both.

(Cart) – Paste

Slide to the bottom left.

– Resize 35%.
Paste above element 12 layer.

Slide to desired position
Sharpen.
Duplicate – mirror. Move to position
Dropshadow both.
Add any other embellishments if you
want to.
Close off white background (click
little eye next to it in layers palette), and make sure all your original template
layers are either closed or deleted.
In layers palette, right click on the
top butterfly layer. Merge – merge visible.
Resize 95%, all layers checked.
Centre this on your tag.
Centre this on your tag.
Close this for now (click little eye
next to it in layers palette)
Click on white background layer (which
should still be closed)
Layers – new raster layer. Selections –
select all.
Paste Paper 10 into selection.
Deselect.
Flip paper.
Apply Autumn mask.
In layers palette, merge group.
Duplicate mask.
On top copy, layers – properties –
multiply.
In layers palette, right click and Merge
visible (don’t merge down as you lose the properties effect)
Re-open your tag
Merge visible.
Crop & resize if desired.
Add copyrights and name.
