HER TRAVELS PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used A&S Snapper script, which is a pay font

Scrapkit is a beautiful kit called Travel by Nika of Devilish Designz.

This is almost two kits in one, the elements are so different. Such a fun kit to work with, thanks Nika.

Tube of choice. I used Mermaid Girl by Alex Prihodko

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask 046

I’m not sure where I got this mask, so if it is yours, please let me know and I will either remove it, or give credit.

Open a new raster 800 x 800 and fill white.

Layers – new raster layer.

Selections – select all. Paste Paper 2 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask 0Mask 46

In layers palette, merge group.

Duplicate – mirror. Merge both mask layers together

Frame 1 – Resize 90%.

Paste above the mask layer. Free rotate Right 90%

Stretch frame out to the sides a bit.

Adjust Hue & Saturation. Both settings on 0 (should change to grey).

Sharpen.

Click inside frame with magic wand.

Selections – modify – expand 3.

Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 2 into selection.

Deselect.

Sharpen paper

Dropshadow frame.

In layers palette, move paper to sit below the frame layer.

Element 27(scattered dots) – Paste above mask layer. Slide left, and erase the right side.

Duplicate. Mirror. Merge both together

Dropshadow.

Tube – Paste above element 27 layer.

Slide into position – you can always move it later if you want..

 Dropshadow.

Element 41 (Cherry Blossom) – Resize 80%. Paste above element 30 mesh layer and slide to the bottom left corner.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror – flip. Slide this copy down a bit.

Dropshadow both.

Element 41 (Cherry Blossom again) – Resize original 60% (not the one you just did).

Paste above top cherry blossom layer. Free rotate Right 90.

Slide to the right.

Sharpen. Duplicate. Slide to the left and down slightly.

Duplicate again. Free rotate Left 15. Slide into desired  position with the other two.
Dropshadow all three.

Element 35 (green plant) – Resize 50%. Paste above element 41 layers and slide right.

Sharpen.

Element 23 (Bushes) – Resize 85%. Paste above element 35 layer and slide to bottom right corner.

Sharpen.

Erase the part on the left which pokes outside the frame.

Element 3 (Flower) – Resize 30%. Paste above element 23 layer. Slide down and left.

Sharpen.

Element 14 (Book) – Resize 75%. Paste above element 3 layer.

Slide to bottom centre.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Element 5 (Flower) – Mirror. Resize 40%. Paste above element 14 layer and slide to the bottom Right corner.

Sharpen. Duplicate. Resize this copy 80% and slide slightly left.

Dropshadow both.

Element 20 (Red Butterfly) –Resize 30%. Paste above element 5 layers.

Sharpen. Position as desired. Duplicate – Mirror and move as shown

Dropshadow.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
