MOTOR MOUTH FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Brody, found

Scrapkit by A Space Between called Winter Magic This is FTU found

Tube of choice. I used Zoe close up, by Elias Chatzoudis. I bought mine through MPT, but these tubes can now be purchased through PTE

Mask of choice. I used  WSL84 by Wee Scots Lass.

Mura meister copies


Open template. Copy, and close original.
Image - canvas size  700 x 700.

Delete the following layers: Info, pixel words, small white strips, dotted lines, battery drop shadow.

In layers palette, move white oval above gold oval.
Click on gold oval. Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections - defloat. Click on white oval and hit delete.
Deselect. You should be left with a white oval frame.

In layers palette, move batteries down to sit above the white oval (frame)

Click on middle white strip and move it sideways so you can erase the bit sticking out to the side. Move back the other way and repeat. You should be left with just the oval in the centre.
Move this back into position.

OK, that's all the preparation done, let's get creative!

Fill background white.

Layers - add new raster layer. Selections – select all – paste paper 10 into selection. Deselect.

Layers – load/save mask WSL84
Merge group.
Stretch mask to edges.
Mirror
Duplicate, and move one copy below white oval frame.

Gold rectangles - Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections - defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 13 into selection.
Deselect. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Black rectangles - Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections - defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 11 into selection.
Deselect. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Open paper 5 and crop so most of the white at the top is gone.

Gold Oval – Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections - defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste cropped Paper 5 into selection.
Deselect.
Effects – edge effects – enhance

Set background colour to #3d3123. Foreground null. Font Arial, using a small size (I used 8).
Type MOTOR MOUTH. Centre on canvas as top layer.
Convert to raster layer by right clicking on layers palette and selecting convert to raster.
Effects - Mura Meister copies, Tiling. Change gap to 2, but leave all other settings on default. Click OK.

Click back on Gold Oval. Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.
Click on MOTORMOUTH word layer and hit delete.
Deselect.

White Oval (frame) - Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections - defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 10 into selection. Deselect.
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 60, monochrome checked.
Sharpen. Give inner bevel of choice. Dropshadow.

Middle White Strip - Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections - defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #3d3123.
Drop opacity to 20
Effects – texture effects – weave, settings 1  2  2 both colours white.

Batteries – dropshadow.

Tube – Paste close-up tube and position as desired.
Click back on Gold Oval. Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.
Click on bottom tube and hit delete.
Deselect.
On top copy of tube, dropshadow and erase excess at the bottom.

Motor mouth Gold – Dropshadow.

Motor mouth black - Selections - select all, Selections - float. Selections - defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #3d3123.
Deselect.
Effects – texture effects – blinds with settings 3   55   black.

White text – Dropshadow.

Black text – leave as it is.

Merge all four word layers together, and move down to the bottom of your tag a bit.

Element 17 – Resize 90%. Paste to the right, above the gold rectangles layer.
Duplicate – mirror – flip. Dropshadow both

Element 54 – Resize 60%. Paste above the black rectangles layer to the left and down.
Duplicate – mirror – flip. Dropshadow both

Element 15 – Resize 50% then 85%. Paste so it sits on the battery.
Duplicate – mirror and move down.
Sharpen &  Dropshadow both

Add any embellishments of choice.
Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
