SPRING HEAT FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Coventry Garden


Tube of choice. I used Skye by Keith Garvey. These tubes can be purchased through his online store

Scrapkit by ChiChi Designz called Spring Fever. This is now FTU and can be downloaded from her blog. Be sure to check out the other lovely kits here too

 My Spring Fever cluster. Your choice if you use this, or do it the long way

Mask of choice. I used WSL84 by Wee Scots Lass

Open new canvas 700 x 700
Fill white.
Layers – new raster layer. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat.
Paste Paper 15 into selection.
Deselect.
Apply mask WSL84
In layers palette, merge group.
Stretch mask to all edges

Frame 3 – Resize 90%. Paste above mask layer and slide to top right corner.
Free rotate Right 7. Sharpen. Rename RIGHT FRAME
Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4.
Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 1 into selection.
Deselect.
In layers palette, move paper to sit below Right frame.
Duplicate Frame – Mirror. Rename LEFT FRAME
Slide down.
Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4.
Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 1 into selection.
Deselect.
In layers palette, move paper to sit below Left frame.
Dropshadow both frames.

Dandelion Seeds – Paste above Left Frame layer and slide to top left corner
Dropshadow.

Branch 1 – Paste above Dandelion seed layer and slide to the bottom right corner.
Dropshadow

Tube – Paste above Branch 1 layer. Slide left
Dropshadow.

Cluster – If you want to finish this tutorial quickly, you can now add the cluster I provided. Paste it above the Branch1 layer and slide to bottom right corner.
Stop here, add any other embellishments if you want to.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name

If you want to be adventurous, you can carry on and make the cluster yourself as follows

OK. Your tube should be sitting above the left frame layer.

Flower String – Paste above tube layer and slide to the bottom right corner.
Dropshadow.

Leaves – Resize 50%. Paste above Flower string layer and slide down to the bottom. Duplicate. Free rotate one copy Right 120 and slide it to bottom right corner. Sharpen
Dropshadow both.

Remember you can always rearrange your elements when you finish, so they look as you want them to.

Lily pads – Resize 60%. Paste above leaves layers and slide to bottom left corner.
Dropshadow.

Lace – Resize 70%. Paste above lily pads layer and slide to bottom centre.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Basket – Resize 50%. Paste above lace layer. Slide to bottom right. Position over the leaves, and move around till you like what you see.
Dropshadow basket.

Flowers 1 – Open this element. Take your selection tool and draw around the bottom blossom. In layers palette, right click and promote selection to layer.
Deselect. You can now use the single flower on your tag.
Paste it above the basket layer, and position it down near the bottom of the basket.
Duplicate – mirror. Slide back to the right and position is on the left side of the basket.
Dropshadow both.

Flower 1 (lilac lily) – Resize 30%. Paste above Flowers 1 blossoms. Slide right & down, and position on the basket.
Duplicate – mirror, and slide this one back to the right.
Dropshadow both.

Flowers2 (lily of the valley) – Mirror. Resize 60% then 75%. Paste above Flower 1 layers, and slide down to the centre of the basket.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Move all your flowers and leaves around until they look good to you.

Bird – Resize 35%. Paste above Floewrs2 layer and slide to bottom.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Butterfly1 – Resize 30% then 75%. Paste above Bird layer and free rotate Left 15. Sharpen. Position. Duplicate – mirror and position as desired

Add any other embellishments if you want to.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
