Mask of choice – I used 0Mask 046

I’m not sure where I got this mask, so if it is yours, please let me know and I will either remove it, or give credit.

If you want to animate, you will need Alienskin Xenofex – lightening, and Animation Shop.

Open new canvas 700 x 700

Fill with white.

Layers – new raster layer.

Selections – select all. Paste Paper 6 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask 0Mask46

In layers palette, merge group.

Duplicate mask and merge both together.

Duplicate again and merge together.

Frame 3 – Resize 80%. Paste above mask layer.

Adjust – Hue & Saturation – Colorize H = 0   S = 0

Adjust – Brightness & Contrast   B = minus 25, C = 5

Sharpen.

Click inside frame with your magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 6 into selection.

Deselect.

In layers palette, move paper under frame.

Dropshadow frame.

Element 37 – Resize 40%. Paste above Frame layer and slide to bottom centre. Sharpen. Dropshadow

Element 9 – Resize 70% twice. Paste above element 37 layer. Free rotate left 90 and slide to the top left corner.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror and slide to the bottom right corner.

Dropshadow both.

Element 39 – Resize 60%. Paste above element 9 layer. Slide to the bottom left corner.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror. Slide to the top right corner.

Dropshadow both.

Tube – If using the same one as me, resize 105%.

Paste above element 39 layers.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Element 1 – Resize 50%. Paste above tube layer. Slide to the bottom right corner. Sharpen. Duplicate - mirror

Dropshadow both.

Element 10 – Resize 30%. Paste above element 1 layer.

Slide to the left.

Sharpen. Duplciate - mirror

Dropshadow both.

Element 5 – Flip. Resize 50% then 70%. Paste above element 10 layer.

Free rotate left 90.

Slide to the left and down..

Sharpen. Duplicate – Mirror.

Dropshadow both.

Element 7 – Resize 40% then 75%. Paste above element 5 layer.

Free rotate right 25. Sharpen.

Slide to the bottom centre.

Dropshadow.

Element 6 – Resize 35%. Paste above element 7 layer.

Slide to the bottom left.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Element 4 – Resize 30%. Paste above element 6 layer.

Free rotate right 15.

Slide to the bottom right.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

Slide to top left

Dropshadow both.

 Add any other elements of choice.

Add copyrights.

If you do not want to animate, stop here.

To animate:

In PSP, click on the tube layer.

Effects – alienskin Xenofex – lightning.

Leave all numbers on default settings, but move the two cursors so the top one sits in the palm of the witch’s top hand, and the other is near the fairy’s head.

Click OK.

Edit – Copy Special – Copy Merged.

In Animation Shop, Edit – Paste – paste as new animation.

Back to PSP. Edit – undo lightening.

Effects – alienskin Xenofex – lightning.

Leave exactly as it was, but click random seed.

In Animation Shop, Edit – Paste – paste after current frame.

Back to PSP. Edit – undo lightening.

Effects – alienskin Xenofex – lightning.

Leave exactly as it was, but click random seed.

In Animation Shop, Edit – Paste – paste after current frame.

This should give you three frames.

Save as a gif, and you’re done!
