ROMANCE PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Beauty school dropout, found

Scrapkit is a beautiful PTU scrapkit called Romance by Tracey of Scrapz n Pleazure.

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask046 LT.

I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.

My grey scalloped frame

HERE

Open new canvas 700 x 700

Fill white.

Layers – new raster layer.

Selections - select all. Paste Paper 3 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask 0Mask046 LT

In layers palette, merge group.

Duplicate mask. Mirror. Merge both mask layers together.

Set foreground color to #a9baca and background to #3a2739.

Make a background gradient 45 degrees with 1 repeat.

Grey scalloped frame (from my supplies) – Paste as a new layer.

Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat.

Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 7 into selection.

Deselect.

Delete template layer.

Sharpen paper

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 6.

Layers – new raster layer. Fill with gradient.

Deselect.

Give frame inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow frame.

Element 31 (dark blue leaves) – Mirror.

Paste below gradient layer and slide to the top left corner.

Dropshadow.

Element 3 (flowers) – Paste above mask layer and slide left.

Duplicate – mirror.

Dropshadow both.

Element 5 (tree) – Resize 60%. Paste above the frame layer. Slide to top right corner.  Sharpen
Dropshadow.

Element 9 (blue leaves with lilies) – Paste above the element 5 tree layer and slide to bottom right corner.

Duplicate. Resize this 60% and slide it down to the bottom right corner.

Duplicate twice. On one copy – mirror.

Leave the other copy exactly as it is for now.

Dropshadow all four element 9 layers.

Element 26 (pink twigs) – Resize 60%. Paste above the biggest element 9 layer (the one you didn’t resize). Slide to bottom left corner.  Sharpen.

Duplicate – mirror.
Dropshadow both.

Tube – Paste between the two smaller element 9 layers on the right.

Slide into desired position.

Dropshadow.

On the top copy of element 9 (the one directly above your tube), carefully erase most of the plant that covers her back.

Element 19 (butterfly) – Resize 50%. Paste above the top element 9 layer.

Sharpen.

Duplicate – mirror. Resize 70%

Duplicate – mirror.
Dropshadow all three butterflies.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Add copyrights.
