A BREATH OF SPRING PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Alba Matter, found

Scrapkit is a beautiful PTU scrapkit called Springbreath by Tracey of Scrapz n Pleazure.

Close-up tube of choice. I used SpringBreath by Zlata M, which matches the scrapkit perfectly

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask046 LT.

I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.

Open new canvas 700 x 700

Fill white.

Layers – new raster layer.

Selections - select all. Paste Paper 5 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask 0Mask046 LT

In layers palette, merge group.

Layers – new raster layer.

Selections - select all. Paste Paper 4 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask 0Mask046 LT

In layers palette, merge group.

Mirror this mask. Drop opacity to 62

Merge both mask layers together.

Element 64 (frame) – Paste above mask layer.

Effects – edge effects – enhance.

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4.

Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 4 into selection.

Deselect.

Dropshadow frame.

Element 41 (flowers) – Mirror.

Paste above frame layer and slide to the right.

Dropshadow.

Element 21 (wishing well) – Resize 50%. Paste above element 41 layer and slide left.

Sharpen.

Dropshadow.

Element 8 (tree) – Resize 60%. Paste above element 21 layer. Slide to left. 

Sharpen
Dropshadow.

Erase bottom of trunk

Element 59 (white rosebush) – Paste above element 8 layer and slide to right and down slightly.

Duplicate. Slide this copy to the bottom left corner.

Dropshadow both.

Tube – Paste above top element 59 layer..

Slide into desired position.

Dropshadow.

Element 37 (mushrooms) – Resize 50%. Paste above the tube layer.

Slide to bottom left corner.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Element 35 (blue flower) – Resize 40% Paste above element 37 layer.

Slide to the right and down. Duplicate – Mirror. Slide to the right.

Duplicate again and slide to bottom centre.

Dropshadow all three.

Element 34 (pink flowers) – Mirror. Paste above element 35 layers and slide to right.
Dropshadow.

Element 15 (bird) – Mirror. Resize 50% then 80%. Paste above element 34 layer.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Element 16 (bird) – Mirror. Resize 45% then 80%. Paste above element 15 layer.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Add any other embellishments of choice.
