ROSE AND GOLD FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used 1 Snappy DNA, found

Tube of choice. I used Karee by Pinuptoons. These tubes can be purchased through CDO

Scrapkit is called Rose and Gold by LadyHawwke. This is a prettyy FTU kit which you can find

Template 0017 by Magik (Don’t let the reference to “kinky” put you off)

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask046 LT.

I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.

Open Template 0017. Copy, and close original.

Image – canvas size 700 x 700

Click on Background at the bottom and floodfill white

Delete the top 3 layers (credit, plus two wordart layers), and the pixel words layer.

Click on white background. Layers – new raster layer.

Selections – select all. Paste Rosepaper2 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask 0Mask046 LT

In layers palette, merge group.

Duplicate and merge both mask layers together.

Goldflower1 – Resize 300%.

Don’t worry about it looking fuzzy – we’re going to blur it more anyway J

Paste above mask layer and slide to top left corner so you can only just see it above the template layers.

Duplicate – mirror. Merge both together.

Duplicate – flip. Merge both together.

Adjust – blur – radial blur. Click Zoom and change strength to 30.

Duplicate and merge both layers together.

Rounded square 1 – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Goldrose floral paper into selection.
Deselect.

Sharpen

Delete template layer.

Gold Frame 1 (from kit) – Resize 90%. Paste above rounded square 1 layer.

Free rotate left 14. Slide to sit nicely over the paper square.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

In layers palette, move the copy to sit above Rounded square 3 and slide down into position.

Give each frame an inner bevel of choice and Dropshadow both.

Rounded square 2 – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Rose paper 1 into selection.
Deselect.

Sharpen

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

Delete template layer.

Rounded Rectangle – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Gold paper 1 into selection.
Deselect.

Sharpen

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

Delete template layer.

Flowersprig (from kit) – Resize 60%. Paste above rounded rectangle layer.

Sharpen and slide into position.

Duplicate – mirror.

In layers palette move this copy to sit over the circle layer.

Slide to the left.

Dropshadow both.

Circle – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Gold paper 2 into selection.
Deselect.

Sharpen

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

Delete template layer.

Tube – Paste above Circle layer and slide into position.

Duplicate – mirror. In layers palette, move copy to sit above Heart1 layer and slide into position.

Dropshadow original tube.

Click the little eye next to the copy in the layers palette to close it off for the moment. We’ll deal with it when we get to that layer.

Rounded square 3 – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Goldrose floral paper into selection.
Deselect.

Sharpen

Delete template layer.

You should have the copy of Goldframe 1 sitting above this layer.

Heart 1  -  Re-open your copy of the tube. Reduce opacity to 63 and make sure it is sitting where you want it to.

Click on the Heart 1 layer.  Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Rosepaper 3 into selection. DO NOT DESELECT. Selections – invert. Click on copy of tube and hit delete.

Deselect.

Make sure tube is sitting above the paper. Merge tube down onto paper layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

Delete template layer.

Lilac Beads (from kit)  - Resize 80%. Paste above Heart 1 layer and slide into position.

Sharpen. Dropshadow

Heart 2 – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Gold paper 1 into selection.
Deselect.

Sharpen

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

Delete template layer.

Sparkle Brush – Sharpen. DO NOT DROPSHADOW.

Goldflower 1 – Paste above the Sparkle brush layer and slide to the left.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

In layers palette. Move this copy down to sit above Rounded square 3 frame.

Dropshadow both.

Roseflower 1 – Paste above the Goldflower 1 layer and slide to the left.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

In layers palette. Move this copy down to sit below the right–hand copy of Goldflower 1.

Dropshadow both.

Rosebow 2 – Paste above the left-hand copy of Roseflower 1

Sharpen. Dropshadow

I added words to the smaller heart. Free rotate left 35 if you want to do this.

Add any other embellishments if you want to.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
