IRIS DREAMS FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Champagne & Limousines, found

Scrapkit is a lovely FTU kit from Kirsty’s Scraps called Dream E-scape.
You can find this kit

Tube of choice. I used Iris by Tanya Jacobsz. I purchased this tube from MPT, but I’m not sure where you can buy them now. Tanya’s website is

The second example is using Delilah by Jamie Kidd. You can purchase these tubes from CDO

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask046 LT
I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.

A beach type background, or use mine in supplies.

My Supplies, includes background, flowers and mask

Open new canvas 700 x 700
Fill white

Layers – new raster layer.
Selections – select all. Paste Paper 7 into selection. DO NOT DESELECT.
Layers – new raster layer. Paste background into selections.
Deselect.
Close off background for now by clicking the little eye next to it in your layers palette.

To Paper 7, apply mask 0Mask046 LT
In layers palette, merge group.
Mirror mask.

Click on mask. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat.
Layers – new raster layer. Paste Background into selection. (not the one you closed off – we use that later)
Deselect.
Merge both mask layers together.

Frame 1 – Resize 95%. Paste above mask layer. Slide to bottom centre of tag
Sharpen.

Tube – Paste above frame and move into position.
Duplicate tube and move one copy below frame.

In layers palette, open Background, and make sure it is sitting below the bottom tube layer.
Resize background 98% all layers unchecked.
Sharpen

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 1. Selections – invert.
Click on bottom tube and hit delete. Click on background and hit delete.
Deselect.
Erase parts of top tube you don’t want seen.
Dropshadow top tube and frame.

Gazebo  – Paste in top left corner, under the background layer.
Sharpen. Duplicate and slide above halfway down on the left. Duplicate again and slide all the way to the bottom left.
Dropshadow all three.
Erase any bits you don’t want, like the little white point on top.
Merge all three gazebo layers

Greenery 1 –Resize 75% & paste above gazebo layer.
Free rotate left 90. Sharpen.
Slide to base of frame. Dropshadow

Greenery 2 –Flip. Resize 60% & paste above Greenery 1 layer.
Free rotate right 10. Sharpen.
Duplicate and slide to the left.
Dropshadow both.

Flower 2 - Mirror. Resize 65% then 75%.
Free rotate left 90 and erase the stalk.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.
(NOTE: If using the Delilah tube, duplicate this flower and paste above the top tube copy to hide her arm).

Glitterstars – Resize 98%. Paste above the Flower 2 layer. Slide to the top of the frame.
Sharpen. Duplicate. Flip. Slide this to the bottom of the frame.
Dropshadow both.
In layers palette, move the flipped copy to sit between the two Greenery layers.

Your top tube should be your next layer

Grass 2– Paste above top tube layer and slide to left. Dropshadow.

Grass 1– Paste above Grass 2 layer and slide to left. Use this to cover the flat part of the Girl’s hand.
Dropshadow

Shrooms– Resize 60%. Paste above grass 1 layer and slide to left. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Flower 4– Resize 70%. Paste above Shrooms layer and slide to left.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Violets(from my supplies) – Paste above Flower 4 layer.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Butterfly 2 – Resize 75% then 60%. Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.
Dropshadow both.

Add any other embellishments of choice
