NEW YEAR PEARLS PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used 1 Snappy DNA, found

Scrapkit is another Gorgeous PTU kit called Crazy about Zebra Holiday by Nicky of Inzpired Creationz.
You can purchase this kit

Tube of choice. I used Ivory by Keith Garvey.
You can purchase these beautiful tubes from Keith’s store

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask046 LT.
I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.

My frame (in case you don’t have Mura meister copies filter)

NEW YEAR PEARLS SUPPLIES (frame and mask)


Open new canvas 700 x 700.
Fill white

Layers – new raster layer.
Selections – select all. Paste Paper 8 into selection.
Deselect.
Apply mask 0Mask046 LT
In layers palette, merge group.
Duplicate – mirror and merge both mask layers together.

Snowflakes 3 – Flip. Resize 80% and position in top right corner above mask.
Dropshadow.

Frame – Paste in the centre of your canvas. Either use mine (supplied) or make your own as follows:
Pearls 2 – paste in centre. Dropshadow.
Pearls 3 – Resize 95% and move up a tiny bit. Dropshadow.
Pearls 1 – Resize 90% and move up a bit above Pearls 3. Dropshadow.
Merge all 3 pearls layers together and resize 90%
Centralize on your canvas (Cut and paste is the easiest way to do this).

Apply Mura meister copies – encircle, on default settings.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.
Merge both together and Dropshadow.

Choose your elipse tool. With foreground black, background null and width 10, draw a circle in the centre of the frame.
Objects – align – centre in canvas. Resize if you need to, and then centre in canvas again.
In layers palette, right click and convert to raster layer.
Adjust – add noise. Gaussian 80, monochrome checked.
Add inner bevel of choice and dropshadow.

Click inside black circle with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4
Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 7 into selection.
If you are making your own frame, then click on pearls layer and hit delete.
Deselect.
Move paper below frame and sharpen.
Merge black circle down to pearls layer.

Go back to your Snowflake 3 layer and duplicate. Resize this 50%.
In layers palette, move this smaller layer to sit above Paper 7 circle, and slide to the left.
Sharpen and dropshadow. Drop opacity to 67

Bow 3 – Resize 40%. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Tube – Position as desired above the frame.
Duplicate, and in layers palette, slide one copy to sit below the frame, but above the small snowflake 3.
On bottom copy, erase all below the frame.
Dropshadow top tube and erase as desired at the bottom.

Champagne – Position to the right. Dropshadow.

Sparkler – Position under the champagne layer.
Duplicate. Free rotate left 15. Sharpen and move down and left a bit.
Dropshadow both.

Confetti 2 – Position above the champagne layer bottom right.
Dropshadow.

Champagne glasses 2 – Resize 85%. Sharpen and Dropshadow.

Ornament 6 – Resize 40%. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Ornament 2 – Mirror. Resize 40%. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Ornament 3 – Resize 38%. Free rotate left 15. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Ornament 4 – Mirror. Resize 38%. Free rotate right 20. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Pearls 2 – Position above ornament 2 layer. Dropshadow.

Hat – Resize 60%. Free rotate left 15. Position above Pearls 2 layer.
Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Wordart – Resize 50%.
Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – modify – expand 2.
Layers – new raster layer. Fill white.
Deselect.
Move white below pink.
To pink layer give inner bevel of choice.
Dropshadow white.
Merge both wordart layers together and position as desired.

Add any other embellishments of choice
