ALMOST SPRINGTIME FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used AL Sandra

Tube of choice. I used 2 different tubes. One is called LadyBraid by a FTU artist called Janice Cua. Her lovely work can be found at her site  www.janicecua.com. I have included the tube for you

Mask of choice – WSL4

Open a new canvas 700 x 700 and fill white.

Layers – new raster layer - Selections – select all. Paste  Paper 12 into selection. Apply mask WSL4. Merge group. Stretch to sides and down. Duplicate mask and merge both together.

Effects – edge effects – enhance more.

Frame 3 – Resize 80%. Sharpen

Duplicate.

On bottom copy free rotate right 45

On top copy, click inside square with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 5. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 9 into selection.

Deselect. Move paper layer below top frame.

Effects – Texture effects – Texture – brick wall.

Dropshadow both frames.

Doodle 3 – Resize 30%. Paste over top frame on right. Sharpen.

Duplicate – flip. Merge both together.

Duplicate – Mirror. Merge both together.

Duplicate again. Free rotate right 90. Sharpen.

Dropshadow all.

Doodle 1 – Flip. Resize 50%. Paste between bottom frame & paper layers, bottom right. Duplicate – Mirror. Merge both together.

Duplicate – flip.

Dropshadow all.

Metalflower 2 – Resize 50% then 80%. Sharpen

Place over top frame on bottom left. Duplicate – mirror and merge both together.

Erase ends.

Duplicate. Free rotate right 90.

Dropshadow all.

Flowers 3 – Resize 20% then 70%. Sharpen.

Position as top layer, at the top of the frame.

Duplicate – flip and merge down.

Duplicate – free rotate right 90. Merge down.

Duplicate again. Free rotate right 45.

Dropshadow all.

Paste tube as top layer and move into position. Duplicate tube and move one down under frame. On bottom tube, erase any parts you don’t want showing.

Erase on top tube also. Dropshadow top tube.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
