DIABLA PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Hombre, found

Scrapkit is a Pay to Use kit called Diabla by Nika of Devilish Designz.

Tube of choice. I used the matching tube by The Hunter, also called Diabla. You can purchase this lovely tube from ScrapsnCompany

Two masks of choice.
I used 0Mask011
I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.

New canvas 700 x 700
Fill white.
Duplicate
Rename bottom copy BACKGROUND and top copy 0MASK011. Close this white mask layer by clicking on the little eye next to it in layers palette.

Click on BACKGROUND layer.
Layers – new raster layer.
Selections – select all. Paste Paper 4 into selection.
Deselect.
Apply mask 58~T
In layers palette, merge group.
Stretch to all edges.

Open the white 0MASK011 layer (click the eye again)
Apply mask 0MASK011
In layers palette, merge group.
Stretch to all edges.

Merge both mask layers together

Frame 4 – Resize 70%.
Paste above mask layer.
Sharpen.

Close up tube – Roughly erase bottom and right side so it fits into the canvas
Paste above frame 4, and slide into position.
Sharpen tube.
Duplicate tube and in layers palette, move one copy below frame.

Resize Paper 4 60% and paste below the bottom copy of tube.
Sharpen paper.

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4.
Selections – invert
Click on bottom copy of tube and hit delete.
Click on paper 4 and hit delete.
Deselect.

Dropshadow Frame.

Dropshadow top copy of tube, and erase the bottom and right side so she looks as if she is popping out of the frame.

Element 4 (gate) – Resize 80%.
Paste above mask layer.
Free rotate left 20 and slide left.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow.

Element 12 (red & white flower scatter) – Resize 80%.
Paste above gate layer and slide to top left corner.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow

Element 16 (tree) – Resize 90%.
Erase the top of the tree (the bit at top left)
Paste above element 12 layer and slide to top right corner.
Sharpen.
Duplicate – flip. Merge both these copies together.
Duplicate – mirror.
Merge both copies together
Dropshadow

Element 26 (grass) – Resize 60%.
Paste above frame layer.
Slide to bottom left corner.
Sharpen.
Duplicate. Merge both copies together
Dropshadow

Element 40 (barbed wire) – Resize 80%.
Paste above top tube layer.
Slide to bottom.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow

Element 34 (feather) – Resize 50%.
Paste above barbed wire layer.
Slide to bottom left corner.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.
Free rotate right 90
Slide this copy to bottom left.
Sharpen
Dropshadow both.

Element 46 (water splash) – Resize 70%.
Paste between feather layers.
Slide to bottom right corner.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror – flip.
In layers palette, move this copy to sit above frame layer
Dropshadow both

Element 48 (deco) – Resize 25%.
Paste above watersplash layer.
Slide to bottom.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow

Element 23 (red bead scatter) – Resize 75%.
Paste above element 48 layer.
Slide to left.
Sharpen. Duplicate – Mirror.
Dropshadow both.
In layers palette, move the right side copy to sit above the bottom feather layer.

Element 3 (red rose & ribbon) – Mirror. Resize 60%.
Paste above top red bead layer.
Slide to bottom left corner.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow


Add any other embellishments of choice.
Resize if desired.
Add copyright and name
