URBAN PTU

Written by Gwenda on June 10th 2014
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Broken Ghost, found

Scrapkit is a another great PTU kit by Nika at Devilish Dezines, called Urban
You can purchase this kit from Scraps N Company

Tube of choice. I used the matching tube Urban by Danny Lee. You can purchase these awesome tubes from Scraps N Company

Mask of choice – I used 201 from Insatiable Dreams. You’ll find it under Masks 7

This is a very quick and easy tutorial

File – New Image 700 x 700
Fill white

Layers – new raster layer. Selections – select all. Paste Paper 6 into selection.
Deselect.
Apply Mask 201.
In layers palette merge group.
Duplicate mask, and merge both mask layers together

Frame 3 – Resize 80%
Sharpen.

Element 37 – Resize 40%. Paste above frame and slide to the right. Duplicate – mirror.
Dropshadow both.

Element 16 – Paste above mask layer. Free rotate left 15 and slide to left.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow

Tube close up – If using the same one as me, resize 70% then 90%. Paste above Element 37 layer and slide left.

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 2 into selection.
Deselect.
In layers palette, move paper below frame
Dropshadow frame.
Dropshadow top tube.
We will be covering most of the bottom of the tube, so no need to erase it.

My cluster from scrapkit. Resize 80%. Paste above top tube layer and slide to bottom right corner.
Sharpen.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
