SAINT PADDYS DAY 2014 FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Dubledor, found

Scrapkit is a lovely FTU kit called Saint Paddys Day by Kittz Kreationz. You can find this kit

Tube of choice. I used Helen by Alex Prihodko.

Mask of choice – I used WSL84 by Wee Scots Lass

My grey scalloped frame

HERE

Open new canvas size 700 x 700

Fill white

Layers – new raster layer.

Selections – select all. Paste Paper 3 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask WSL84

In layers palette, merge group.

Stretch mask to all edges.

Drop opacity to 60

Grey Scalloped frame (from my supplies) – Paste above Mask layer.

Selections – select all. Paste Paper 2 into selection.

Deselect.

Delete template layer.

Add inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

SPD31 (rainbow) – Resize 60%. Paste under frame and slide up near top.

Drop opacity to 60.

Dropshadow.

Tube – Resize 80%.

On green dress, adjust Hue & Saturation H= 70  S= 219.

Erase bottom half of tube.

Paste above frame and slide to desired position.
Duplicate tube and move one copy below the frame.

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 3

Layers – new raster layer. Fill white. DO NOT DELETE. Selections – invert. Click on bottom copy of tube and hit delete. Click on rainbow and hit delete.

Deselect.

Dropshadow top tube, and erase any excess at the bottom.

SPD30 (shamrock hearts) – Resize 60%. Paste above mask layer. Slide to bottom left corner. Sharpen. Duplicate – Mirror..

Dropshadow both.

SPD20 (cupcake) – Mirror. Paste above SPD30 layers and slide to top left corner.

SPD38 (harp) – Paste above frame layer.

Slide  to bottom left.

SPD01 (hanger)  –Resize 60%.

Paste above harp layer and slide to right side.

Sharpen

SPD4 (shamrock bouquet) – Resize 60%. Paste above top tube layer.

 Free rotate left 90.

Slide to the bottom centre

SPD3 (Hearts) – Resize 70%. Paste above SPD4 layer. Free rotate right 25 and slide to bottom right corner.

SPD28 (frog) – Resize 80%. Paste above SPD3 layer and slide to the bottom left

Sharpen.

SPD14 (swans) – Resize 50%. Paste above SPD28 layer and slide to the bottom right

Sharpen.

Dropshadow.

SPD16 (bug) – Resize 60%. Paste above SPD14 layer and slide to the left.

Sharpen.

Dropshadow.

SPD24 (coins) – Resize 70%. Paste above SPD16 layer and slide to the bottom.

Adjust – Brightness & Contrast.  B= minus 30  C= plus10

 Sharpen.

SPD19 (3 butterflies) – Resize 65% then 80%. Using section tool, draw around white butterfly. In layers palette, right click and promote selection to layer.

Deselect.

Paste butterfly as top copy and place as desired. Duplicate and move.

Add more embellishments if you choose.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
