PRETTY IN RED FTU

Template 185 by Pooker at Elegant Inspirations

Open Pooker Template 185. Shift D to copy, then close original

Delete top credits layer,

Resize template 85%, all layers checked.

Image – canvas size 700 x 700

Click on background layer at the bottom and floodfill white

BLUE DOTTED OUTLINE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.

Deselect

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

BLUE SQUARES – Erase the square on bottom left – you should only have the one square at top right.

Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 1 into selection.

Deselect.

Close template layer.

Sharpen paper.

Duplicate – mirror – flip.

Merge both square together.

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

WHITE DOTTED SQUARES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.

Deselect

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

YELLOW CIRCLES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 10 into selection.

Deselect.

Close template layer.

Sharpen paper.

Give inner bevel of choice

WHITE DOTTED CIRCLES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.

Deselect

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

Set foreground color to #bb1b1e  and background to white.

Make background gradient 0 degrees with 1 repeat. (Red should be on the outsides)

WHITE SQUARES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with gradient.

Deselect

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

BLUE DOTTED SQUARES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.

Deselect

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

BLUE CIRCLES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 7 into selection.

Deselect.

Close template layer.

Sharpen paper.

Give inner bevel of choice

Element 15 (from scrapkit) – Resize 75%. Slide to top left corner.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror - flip

Dropshadow both.

LT BLUE CIRCLE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 9 into selection.

Deselect.

Close template layer.

Sharpen paper.

Give inner bevel of choice

WHITE DOTTED CIRCLE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #bb1b1e.

Deselect

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow.

YELLOW SQUARES – Resize Paper 9 50% twice. Paste above Yellow squares layer and slide to cover the left square.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

Resize Paper 7 50% then 45%. Paste above paper 9 squares and slide to cover centre square.

Sharpen.

Merge all three paper squares into one layer.

Paste close up of tube above the merged paper layers and slide to the left. Position as desired.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

Merge both tube layers together.

Click on yellow squares template layer. Selections - select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.

Click on the paper layer and hit delete. Click on the close up tube layer and hit delete.

Deselect.

Drop opacity of the tube layer to 53.

Click back on the yellow squares template layer. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – modify – expand 3.

Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #bb1b1e.

Deselect.

To create a frame effect, make sure the red squares are above the tube layer. Click on yellow square template layer. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on red square and hit delete.

Deselect.

Close yellow squares template layer.

Give red frames inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

WHITE DOTTED SQUARES – Delete this layer.

WHITE STRIPS – Erase the top strip.

On bottom strip Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #bb1b1e.

Deselect

Close template layer.

Duplicate – mirror - flip

Give each strip inner bevel of choice

Dropshadow both.

Element 18  - Flip. Paste above the white background layer. Slide to bottom right. Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror – flip.

Dropshadow both.

Element 7  - Resize 60%. Paste above the white strips layer. Slide up and right. Sharpen

Dropshadow.

Tube – Paste above element 7 layer.

Dropshadow.

Element 13  - Resize 40%. Paste above the tube layer. Slide to bottom left. Sharpen

Dropshadow.

Element 1  - Resize 40%. Paste above element 13 layer. Slide to bottom left. Sharpen

Dropshadow.

Element 10  - Resize 40%. Paste above element 1 layer. Slide to sit on top strip.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

Slide down to sit above the bottom strip.

Dropshadow both.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
