GOLDEN SPARKLES FTU

Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Beauty school dropout, found

Scrapkit is called GoldnBlack by Cadis Fun Scraps. This lovely FTU kit can be found

Tube of choice. I used Sparkles by Keith Garvey.
You can purchase his tubes from his store.

Template 47 by Twyzted T

Mask of choice – I used WSL84 from Wee Scots Lass

My Bottoms Up wordart


Open Template 47. Shift D to copy, then close original
Delete top credits layer

Resize template 90%, all layers checked.
Image – canvas size 700 x 700
Click on background layer at the bottom and floodfill white

Layers – new raster layer. Selections – select all. Fill with black.
Deselect.

Apply mask WSL84
In layers palette, merge group.
Stretch mask to all edges.

Flowers 01 (from scrapkit) – Resize 40%. Paste above mask layer.
Slide to bottom left corner.
Free rotate left 40. Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror. Merge both layers together.
Duplicate – flip. Merge both layers together.
Dropshadow.

Set foreground color to #afa065 and background to black.
Make background gradient 0 degrees with 1 repeat (black should be on top and bottom).

RASTER 7 (dark grey rectangles)– Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with gradient.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 50, with monochrome box checked.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.

RASTER 8 (white rectangle frames)– Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #afa065.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.

RASTER 5 (light grey rectangle)– Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #afa065.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Adjust – add noise Gaussian 50, with monochrome box checked.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.

RASTER 9 (white rectangle) – Leave white
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.

RASTER 6 (long grey rectangle) – Merge copy of raster 6 down to raster 6 so both rectangles are on one layer.
Resize Paper 1 80% twice.
Paste above the merged raster 6 rectangles.
Click on rectangles layer. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on paper 1 layer and hit delete.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Effects – edge effects – enhance.
Dropshadow.

RASTER 10 (white dots)– Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.


RASTER 3 (centre four squares)– Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 03 into selection.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.

Set foreground color to #afa065 and background to #e7dfb5.
Make background gradient 0 degrees with 1 repeat (darker color should be on top and bottom).

RASTER 12 (two small black squares) – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with gradient.
Deselect.
Close template layer.

Frame 01 (from scrapkit) – Resize 30%. Paste above Raster 12 layers and slide to the left.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.
Dropshadow both.

RASTER 4 (long thin centre rectangle) – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Give inner bevel of choice.
Dropshadow.

RASTER 13 (long dotted line) – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #afa065.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Give inner bevel of choice.
Dropshadow

RASTER 2 (grey centre circle) – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.
Deselect.
Close template layer.

Wordart (from my supplies) - Paste above black circle.
Drop opacity to 40

RASTER 11 (circle frame) – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #afa065.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Give inner bevel of choice.
Dropshadow

Tube – Paste tube above Raster 11 circle frame. Dropshadow.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
