THE COMFORTER PTU

Template is by number 182 Pooker. You can download this

Open template 182.

Copy, and close original

Delete top four layers (Credits, black dotted, pink square and white square).

There are a couple of other layers to be deleted, but it’s easier to deal with those as we get to them.

Resize 75%, all layers checked.

Image – canvas size 700 x 700

Click on BackGround at the bottom and floodfill white

We are going to do all the template layers first, starting from the bottom.

GREY RECTANGLES – Resize Paper 4 40% then 50%. Paste above grey rectangles layer. Slide up and left to cover the left side of the top rectangle.

Duplicate – mirror and merge both together.

Duplicate – flip and merge both together.

Click on Grey Rectangles. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on Paper 4 layer and hit delete.

Deselect.

Close off template layer.

On Paper 4 - Effects – edge effects – enhance.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

PINK RECTANGLES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #1b242b.

Deselect.

Effects – texture effects – blinds with settings 5  30  black, both boxes checked.

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

WHITE DOTTED - Give inner bevel of choice.

BLACK CIRCLE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 4 into selection.

Deselect.

Sharpen.

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

WHITE DOTTED - Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 1 into selection.

Deselect.

Sharpen.

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

WHITE CIRCLE - Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 10 into selection.

Deselect.

Sharpen.

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

PINK CIRCLES – Resize Paper 4 50% twice. Paste above Pink circles layer. Slide left.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror and merge both together.

Click on Pink Circles. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on Paper 4 layer and hit delete.

Deselect.

Close off template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

WHITE CIRCLES – Resize Paper 7 50% twice. Paste above White circles layer. Slide right

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror and merge both together.

Click on White Circles. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on Paper 7 layer and hit delete.

Deselect.

Close off template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

WHITE DOTTED – DELETE THIS LAYER.

PINK SQUARES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #1b242b.

Deselect.

Effects – texture effects – blinds with settings 5  30  black, with horizontal box unchecked.

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow..

WHITE DOTTED – Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

LT PINK SHAPES – DELETE THIS LAYER.

GREY CIRCLE - Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 2 into selection.

Deselect.

Sharpen.

Close template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

WHITE DOTTED – Add new raster layer above white dotted layer.

Fill with #591830. Resize this layer 80%, all layers unchecked.

Click on White Dotted. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on colored layer and hit delete.

Deselect.

Close off template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

BLACK SQUARES - Resize Paper 6 50% twice. Paste above Black squares layer. Slide left

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror and merge both together.

Click on Black squares. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on Paper 6 layer and hit delete.

Deselect.

Close off template layer.

Give inner bevel of choice.

Dropshadow.

OK, that’s the template layers filled. Now it’s time to add bits from the scrapkit.

Element 43 (path)) – Resize 70%. Paste above white background layer. Slide left and down.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

Dropshadow both.

Element 12 (flower doodle) – Resize 75%. Paste above element 43 layer. Slide up.

Sharpen. Duplicate – flip.

Dropshadow both.

Element 22 (grass) – Resize 40%. Paste above Paper 7 white circles layer.

Free rotate right 90

Slide to the right.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

Dropshadow both.

Element 36 (flower scatter) – Resize 50%. Paste above element 22 layer. Slide left.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.

Dropshadow both.

Element 46 (light rays) – Resize 20%. Paste above white dotted layer (the one above the pink squares).

Sharpen. Duplicate and merge both together.

DO NOT DROPSHADOW.

Tube – Paste as top layer.
Dropshadow.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
