MAGICAL SUMMERS EVE FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used FairyDust, found

Scrapkit by Inzpired Creationz called Summers Eve Garden. This gorgeous kit was PTU, but is now FTU and can be downloaded

(NOTE: For some reason, this kit has got a password on it, so until I can sort this out with Nicki, you can get the kit

Tube of choice. I used Shades of Blue by The Vintage Angel ™.

My tree paper, which is made from the tree in this kit.

Mask of choice. I used WSL 4 from Wee Scots Lass

New raster 700 x 700

floodfill white

Layers – new raster layer. Selections – select all. Paste Tree Paper into Selections – select all Deselect

Apply mask WSL4.

In layers palette, merge group.

Slide mask to top left corner. Duplicate. Merge both mask layers together.

Sparkles 3 – Flip. Resize 95%.

 Paste above mask layer. Effects – edge effects – enhance more.

Slide to bottom right corner.

Click inside sparkles 3 with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 4. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 7 into selection.
Deselect.
Sharpen  paper, and drop opacity to 68.

Make sure paper is below the sparkles 3 layer.

Dropshadow sparkles 3.

Scattered butterflies – Resize 60%. Paste above sparkles 3 layer and slide to the left and up a bit. Sharpen.

Duplicate – mirror.

Dropshadow both.

Tube – Paste between the two butterfly layers and slide into position.

Duplicate tube and in layers palette, move one copy to sit above the paper 7 layer.

Click on paper 7 layer. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on bottom tube and hit delete.

Deselect.

On top tube, add Dropshadow, and erase any parts you don’t want to show.

Flowerswag 1 – Resize 50% & paste above top butterfly layer.

Slide down and right slightly.

Sharpen. Duplicate.

In layers palette, move this copy to sit above mask layer.

Slide it to the top left corner.

Duplicate – mirror. Merge both these together.

Duplicate – flip.

Dropshadow all.

Bow 3 – Resize 60%.

Adjust hue and saturation – colorize H =148   S =147

Paste under top tube layer and slide left.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Bird 2 – Resize 40% then 85%. Paste above the top flowerswag 1 layer and slide down.
Sharpen twice. Duplicate – mirror. Resize 80% and slide down slightly.

Dropshadow both.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
