GORGEOUS GEISHA PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Seven Monkeys Fury, found

Scrapkit is called Geisha by Bibi’s Collection. I love everything about this kit. Gorgeous!!
 It can be purchased from SATC

Tube of choice. I used the matching tube by Danny Lee, called Geisha
You can purchase this through SATC also.

Template 172 by Pooker

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask 046
I’m not sure where I got this mask, so if it is yours, please let me know and I will either remove it, or give credit.
You can download this mask.



Open Pooker’s Template 172. Shift D to copy, then close original
Delete top credits layer, Pink dotted, Black dotted, Pink arcs, Black dotted, White arcs, Pink Dotted.

Resize template 75%, all layers checked.
Image – canvas size 700 x 700
Click on background layer at the bottom and floodfill white

Layers – new raster layer. Selections – select all paste Paper 6 into selection.
Deselect.

Apply mask 0mask 046
In layers palette, merge group.

Element 10 (Black Fern from scrapkit) – Resize 60%. Paste above mask layer and slide right and up.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror. Slide this back to the right and up a bit more.
Dropshadow both.

GREY RECTANGLES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 3 into selection.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Sharpen paper.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.

BLACK RECTANGLES – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 11 into selection.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Sharpen paper.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow

LT PINK ARCS –  Resize Paper 2 50% then 60%.
Paste above the Lt Pink Arcs layer and slide to cover the right arc.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror. Merge both these paper 2 arcs together.
Click on Lt Pink Arcs layer. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert.
Click on merged Paper 2 arcs and hit delete.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Sharpen paper.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow.

Element 87 (fan from scrapkit) – Mirror. Paste above Lt Pink Arcs layer and slide right and up.
Dropshadow

PINK CIRCLE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 7 into selection.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Sharpen paper.
Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow

Element 45 (scatter from scrapkit) – Mirror. Paste above Pink Circle layer and leave it where it lands.
Duplicate – mirror – flip.
Dropshadow both

GREY SHAPE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Fill with black.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Dropshadow

PINK SHAPE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 8 into selection.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Sharpen paper.
Give inner bevel of choice

WHITE DOTTED – Layers – new raster layer on top of white dotted. Fill black.
Resize 95%, all layers unchecked.
Click on white dotted. Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – invert. Click on black layer and hit delete.
Deselect.
Close template layer.
Give inner bevel of choice

WHITE SHAPE – Give inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow

Element 54 (black pagoda from scrapkit) – Resize 50% then 70%. Paste above White shape layer and slide to the left.
Duplicate – mirror. Merge both pagodas together.
Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Selections – modify – expand 1. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 11 into selection.
Deselect.
In layers palette, move paper 11 below the pagodas.
Merge both together.
Dropshadow.

Element 44 (black feathers from scrapkit) – Paste above element 54 layer and slide up.
Duplicate – flip.
Dropshadow both.

Element 13 (grass from scrapkit) – Resize 60%. Paste above element 44 layers. Free rotate left 90, and slide down and left.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow

BLACK CIRCLE – Selections – select all. Selections – float. Selections – defloat. Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 13 into selection. DO NOT DESELECT.
Layers – new raster layer. Paste Element 91 into selection.
Deselect.
Do NOT dropshadow element 91.
Close template layer.
Sharpen paper.
Give paper circle inner bevel of choice
Dropshadow circle.

Element 56 (white blossom branch from scrapkit) – Mirror. Resize 50%. Paste above element 91 layer. Slide down and left.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow

Element 85 (pink blossom from scrapkit) – Resize 50%. Paste above element 56 layer. Slide down to cover black branch of element 56.
Sharpen.

Element 17 (bonsai tree from scrapkit) – Resize 50% then 70%. Paste above element 85 layer. Slide down and right.
Sharpen.

Element 61 (sushi from scrapkit) – Resize 50%. Paste above element 17 layer. Slide down
Sharpen.

Element 59 (sushi from scrapkit) – Resize 40%. Paste above element 61 layer. Slide down
Sharpen.

Element 52 (chopsticks from scrapkit) – Resize 60%. Paste above element 59 layer. Slide down
Sharpen.

Element 60 (sushi from scrapkit) – Resize 40%. Paste above element 52 layer. Slide down
Sharpen.

Tube – If using the same tube as me, resize 49%.
Paste above element 60 layer and slide left.
Dropshadow.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
