THOUGHTS OF SPRING FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used 1 snappy DNA, found

Scrapkit is a real cutie by Amy & Leah at Gimptastic tuts. It is FTU and can be found

Tube of choice. I used Ivory by Keith Garvey. These tubes can be purchased through his shop

 Mask of choice – I used 0mask046. I am unsure where I got this mask, so if it is yours please let me know and I will give credit.

Open new raster 700 x 700

Fill white.

Layers – new raster layer. Fill with #3e2715

Apply 0Mask 046 and merge group.

Duplicate. Mirror. Merge both mask layers together.

Frame 2 –Paste above mask layer.

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 6.

Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 5 into selection.

Deselect.

Sharpen paper.

Dropshadow frame.

String – Resize 85%. Paste above Frame layer.

Free rotate left 90 and slide to the right and up a bit.

Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror - Flip

Dropshadow both.

Tube – position as desired between the two String layers.

Dropshadow.

Flower 3 – Paste above the top String layer. Slide down and left

Duplicate and slide down and right a bit. Sharpen

Dropshadow.

Leaf 1 – Paste above Flower 3 layers and slide to bottom left.

Duplicate. On bottom copy, free rotate right 30, and resize 80%

Sharpen. Dropshadow both.

Branch 1 – Resize 80%. Paste above Leaf 1 layers.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Flower scatter – Paste above Branch 1 layer. Slide to bottom left.

Duplicate. Free rotate right 90. Resize this one 80% and slide to the right side.

Sharpen. Dropshadow both.

Heart 1 –Paste between the two flower scatter layers and slide to bottom right.

Free rotate left 20

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Leaf 2 – Resize 75%. Paste above Heart 1 layer and slide to bottom right.
Duplicate and slide this to top left. Erase the stalk that sticks out.

Sharpen. Dropshadow both.

In layers palette, move the top copy to sit beneath the tube.

Squash – Paste above the top flower scatter layer and slide to bottom right.

Dropshadow.

Frog – Resize 80% twice. Paste above Squash layer and slide to bottom centre.

Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Baby Ducks – Resize 80% twice. Paste above Frog layer.

Sharpen
Dropshadow.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Close white background and merge visible

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
