Any similarity to any other tutorial

This is a very quick and simple
tutorial, but the effect of the black, the grey and the pink is quite stunning.
You will need:
Font of choice – I used Beauty
school dropout, found
Scrapkit is a beautiful PTU scrapkit
called Lovely by Nicky of Inzpired Creationz.

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask046 LT.
I’m not sure where I got this mask,
so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either
remove, or supply credits.
You can download it
Open new canvas 700 x 700
Fill white.
Layers – new raster layer.
Fill black
Apply mask 0Mask046 LT
In layers palette, merge group.
Tulle 3 – Paste above mask layer bottom
left.
Duplicate – mirror. Merge both tulle
layers together.
Duplicate again. Flip.
DO NOT DROPSHADOW.
Frame 4 – Resize 80%.
Sharpen.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow.
Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 8
Layers – new raster layer. Paste
Paper 1 into selection.
Deselect.
In layers palette, move paper below
frame.
Doodle 1 – Resize 80%. Free rotate left 90.
Paste above Tulle layer and slide to
the right.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.
Dropshadow both.
Tube – Paste above the frame layer.
Duplicate and in layers palette move one copy to sit between paper and frame.
Erase excess on bottom tube.
Erase excess on bottom tube.
On top tube erase the excess at the
bottom of the tube
Dropshadow.
Dropshadow.
Scattered hearts 1– Paste above the frame layer (under
top tube) and slide to the left.
Duplicate – mirror – flip.
Dropshadow both.
And that’s it! Done!
Add any other embellishments of
choice. There are heaps to choose from, but I thought the simplicity of this
tag was the best effect.
