LOVING BEING LOVELY PTU

Written by Gwenda on January 8th 2013
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

This is a very quick and simple tutorial, but the effect of the black, the grey and the pink is quite stunning.

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Beauty school dropout, found

Scrapkit is a beautiful PTU scrapkit called Lovely by Nicky of Inzpired Creationz.
You can purchase this kit

Close-up tube of choice. I used Self-Shot 2013 by Keith Garvey.
You can purchase these beautiful tubes from Keith’s store

Mask of choice – I used 0Mask046 LT.
I’m not sure where I got this mask, so I have supplied it. Please let me know if this is yours, and I will either remove, or supply credits.
You can download it

Open new canvas 700 x 700
Fill white.

Layers – new raster layer.
Fill black
Apply mask 0Mask046 LT
In layers palette, merge group.

Tulle 3 – Paste above mask layer bottom left.
Duplicate – mirror. Merge both tulle layers together.
Duplicate again. Flip.
DO NOT DROPSHADOW.

Frame 4 – Resize 80%.
Sharpen.
Dropshadow.

Click inside frame with magic wand. Selections – modify – expand 8
Layers – new raster layer. Paste Paper 1 into selection.
Deselect.
In layers palette, move paper below frame.

Doodle 1 – Resize 80%. Free rotate left 90.
Paste above Tulle layer and slide to the right.
Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror.
Dropshadow both.

Tube – Paste above the frame layer. Duplicate and in layers palette move one copy to sit between paper and frame.
Erase excess on bottom tube.
On top tube erase the excess at the bottom of the tube
Dropshadow.

Scattered hearts 1– Paste above the frame layer (under top tube) and slide to the left.
Duplicate – mirror – flip.
Dropshadow both.

And that’s it! Done!

Add any other embellishments of choice. There are heaps to choose from, but I thought the simplicity of this tag was the best effect.

Add copyrights.
