NEW YEAR 2012 - FTU

Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Monika. This is FTU, and can be found

Scrapkit by Sevens Scraps called New Year Glitter This is FTU found
Tube of choice. I used New Year 2012 by Keith Garvey. These tubes can be purchased through PTE

Mask of choice – I used WSL4.

New raster layer 700 x 700
Floodfill white

Layers – new raster layer – selections – select all
Paste Paper 07 into selection.
Deselect.

Apply WSL Mask 4 and merge group.
Stretch mask out to corners. Duplicate and merge down.

Firework 01 – Mirror. Position over mask layer as far up and to the right as you can.
Duplicate – mirror – Flip. Merge both together and sharpen.
Dropshadow.

Frame 5 – Resize 85%.

Close up of tube – Resize 85% and paste under frame. Dropshadow

Paper 8 – Resize 70% and paste under tube. Effects – edge effects - enhance

Click inside Frame with magic wand. Selections – Modify – expand 3
Selections - invert
Click on tube and hit delete. Click on paper and hit delete
Deselect.

Dropshadow frame.

Close off white background, mask and fireworks, and merge visible the paper, frame and tube layers.
Re-open white background.
Move merged heart frame up and left.

Ribbon 07 – Paste over frame. Dropshadow.

Bow 01 – Resize 60% then 70%. Position over ribbon 07. Dropshadow

Paste half tube on right. Dropshadow.

Bottle 02 – Resize 70%

Bottle 01 – Resize 70%

Glass 04 – Resize 75%

Glass 03 – Resize 75%

Wordart 02 – Resize 80% and paste to right.
Adjust – add noise – Gaussian 60, with monochrome checked.
Dropshadow.

Click on half tube and carefully erase any that shows below the wordart.

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
